Statute of the Kindergarten
§ 1 General provisions
- Non-public kindergarten named Motylek 3 is located in Warsaw at Usypiskowa 3A Street.
- The full name of the kindergarten is: Non-public Kindergarten Motylek 3
- The governing body is Avege sp. z o.o., NIP: 5252973762
- The kindergarten operates on the basis of an entry in the register of non-public schools and outposts kept by the Capital City of Warsaw, based on the provisions of the Act of September 7, 1991 on the educational system (Journal of Laws No. 85 item. with later amendments).
- Pedagogical supervision of the kindergarten is exercised by the Board of Education.
- The headquarters of the kindergarten is located at 3A Usypiskowa Street in Warsaw.
- Place of business: Warsaw ul. Usypiskowa 3 and 3A.
§ 2 Aims and objectives of the kindergarten
- The kindergarten implements the goals and tasks set forth in the Law on the System of Education of December 14, 2016, in particular, the core curriculum of preschool education focusing on:
- Supporting individual child development,
- Providing psychological and pedagogical assistance to children,
- Enabling children to sustain their sense of national, ethnic, linguistic and religious identity,
- Providing care for children in accordance with their needs and the capabilities of the kindergarten,
- Interacting with the family by assisting the family in raising children.
- Resulting from the above goals, the kindergarten carries out the following educational areas:
- To provide care and support the development of children in a friendly, safe and healthy environment,
- Taking into account the individual needs of the child and strengthening self-confidence,
- Creating conditions for the development of self-reliance,
- Developing cognitive processes and expressing one’s own thoughts and judgments,
- Formation of observation skills, facilitating the understanding of phenomena occurring around the child, in the natural, social, cultural, technical environment, encouraging research activity,
- Developing artistic sensitivity, creating conditions for the development of imagination, fantasy and artistic, musical and motor expression,
- Providing conditions for harmonious physical development, safe conduct and pro-health behavior,
- Developing foreign language skills,
- Implementation of tasks resulting from the needs of Special Education (SC) and Early Childhood Development (ECD).
- In order to implement the core curriculum and perform the tasks described in § 2 paragraph 2, the kindergarten, in addition to the tasks performed by teachers, provides:
- Additional language workshops in the kindergarten,
- Music, nature, technical and art workshops to complement and develop the core curriculum implemented by Kindergarten Teachers,
- Workshops to support a child’s physical development and correct deficiencies in that development,
- excursions to external institutions theater, museum and others in order to achieve the objectives of the core curriculum of preschool education,
- therapies, workshops and classes in Special Education (SC) and Early Childhood Development (ECD).
§ 3 Bodies of the kindergarten – organizational structure of the kindergarten.
- Leading Authority. The body that runs the kindergarten is Avege limited liability company, NIP: 5252973762. The governing body shall provide all necessary resources for the smooth operation of the kindergarten. In particular, he is responsible for ensuring proper premises, adequate teaching staff, as well as other factors necessary for the optimal operation of the educational institution.
- Kindergarten Director. The director shall have all the licenses and qualifications prescribed by law and the necessary experience to run a non-public kindergarten. The director of the kindergarten is Malgorzata Grzeszczyk-Mikoda. The kindergarten director’s duties include:
- Directing the activities of the kindergarten and representing it externally,
- Developing the quality measurement of the institution, determining how to perform it, document it and use its results,
- Cooperation with parents and supervisory and controlling institutions
- Provide employees in consultation with the leading authority with appropriate working conditions in accordance with relevant regulations,
- Creating optimal conditions for children to develop,
- Maintenance of office and archival records in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Preschool Teachers. Pre-school teacher can be a person with a higher education in pedagogy – the direction of pre-school education. The tasks of the Preschool Teacher include, in particular, conducting didactic and educational work in accordance with the current curriculum, responsibility for the quality and results of this work, respecting the dignity of the child and respecting his rights, relating to children in a friendly and kind manner. In addition, teachers’ responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for the life, health and safety of children,
- Supporting the child’s psycho-physical development, abilities and interests
- Conducting pedagogical observations aimed at learning about and meeting the developmental needs of children and documenting these observations.
- use of creative and modern methods of teaching and education
- Planning and conducting teaching and educational work,
- Planning their own professional development, systematically improving their professional skills,
- Taking care of the workshop by collecting teaching aids,
- Eliminating the causes of children’s failures,
- Interaction with parents in educational matters, taking into account the right of parents to know the tasks resulting from the preschool education program implemented in a given group and to obtain information on the child, its behavior and development,
- Keeping records of the course of teaching, educational and caring activities in accordance with applicable regulations,
- Implementation of the recommendations of the director and those who inspect the facility.
- Pedagogical Council. The Pedagogical Council consists of the Director and the Preschool Teachers. Meetings of the Council are chaired by the Director or a person designated by the Director from among the Kindergarten Teachers. The tasks of the Pedagogical Council include, in particular:
- Analyze and diagnose current problems concerning the operation of the facility,
- Discussing teaching and educational problems,
- Implementation of tasks related to planning the work of the preschool institution and measuring the quality of its work
- Ensure the proper flow of current information between the Facility Director and the Kindergarten Teachers,
- Discussing issues related to teachers’ professional development plans and further training,
- Developing proposals leading to the improvement of the work of the kindergarten, ensuring optimal conditions for the care of children.
- Support Staff. The support staff at the kindergarten is responsible for the efficient implementation of the various activities ancillary to the core business. Regardless of the primary tasks, persons performing auxiliary functions may be appointed by the kindergarten director to perform other auxiliary tasks in accordance with the current needs of the kindergarten.
- External specialists. In order to implement the core curriculum and its statutory tasks, as well as to fulfill the needs of Special Education and the tasks of WWR, and to supplement the professional competence of teachers, the kindergarten may additionally employ external specialists to implement the core curriculum and ensure the appropriate educational level (pedagogue, speech therapist, physical therapist, language teachers, instructors, external teachers).
§ 4 Organization of Kindergarten Work
- The kindergarten is open year-round on weekdays from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is possible to adapt the daily working hours to the individual needs of parents or guardians of children.
- The kindergarten accepts children from 3 to 5 years old and in justified cases from 2.5 years old.
- For children aged 5 years, the Kindergarten provides annual preschool preparation.
- The basic organizational unit of the kindergarten is a group (ward) consisting of children grouped according to their similar age taking into account their needs, interests, talents, playing and learning in one room.
- The number of children in a group depends directly on the norms and regulations for educational institutions, related to the space of the room, but cannot exceed 18 children.
- The framework schedule of the day is determined by the director of the kindergarten, takes into account the health requirements, is adapted to the program assumptions and expectations of parents.
- On the basis of the framework schedule of the day, teachers entrusted with the care of a particular group establish a detailed daily schedule for that group.
- To carry out its statutory purposes, the kindergarten has at its disposal:
- Teaching rooms equipped with diverse play areas and teaching aids,
- Kitchen facilities,
- A locker room for children and staff,
- Sanitary facilities for parents and staff,
- Playground.
- The kindergarten provides direct and continuous care for children during their stay in the kindergarten and during activities outside the kindergarten premises.
- The kindergarten provides children with a sense of complete physical and mental safety, and applies in its activities the applicable regulations on health and safety at work and fire prevention.
- Children may be picked up by parents or legal guardians or adults authorized by parents or legal guardians in writing, in the presence of a kindergarten employee. Persons who are authorized to pick up or bring the child to the kindergarten should be indicated in the Card of admission of the child to the kindergarten.
- Alumni should be insured against accidents during their stay with the consent of their parents and at their expense.
- The duration of teaching and learning activities and additional activities should be adapted to the developmental capabilities of children. It is assumed that an hour of classes in the kindergarten lasts 60 minutes.
- The organization and timing of extra-curricular activities are determined by the director of the institution, according to the developmental capabilities of the children.
§ 5 Rules of admission of children to the Kindergarten
- Children are admitted throughout the year as spaces are available.
- The basis for enrolling a child in the kindergarten is the completion of the child’s application card and the conclusion of a contract.
§ 6 Kindergarten pupils
- Rights of Children in Kindergarten. The child in the kindergarten has all the rights under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in particular:
- respect for all his needs, kind and subjective treatment,
- defense against all forms of physical or psychological violence,
- respect for personal dignity,
- respect for property,
- partner conversation on any topic,
- absolute acceptance of his person,
- properly organized care and education process.
- Only healthy children are allowed to participate in kindergarten activities, so as to ensure optimal sanitary and hygienic conditions for the rest of the participants.
- A child may be removed from the list of children attending the kindergarten in the case of:
- Parents are in arrears with fees for 1 month of stay in kindergarten
- The child by his behavior causes a threat to the health or life of other alumni
- There will be a lack of cooperation between the teaching staff and the parent in solving educational problems.
§ 7 Parents or legal guardians
- The primary responsibilities of the child’s parents or legal guardians include:
- compliance with the provisions of these statutes,
- Bringing and picking up the child from the kindergarten in person or by authorized persons, providing the child with the appropriate level of care and safety,
- Timely payment of payments for the child’s stay in the kindergarten,
- promptly informing about the reasons for the child’s absence from the kindergarten,
- Notification of food poisoning and infectious diseases of the child,
- Cooperation with the kindergarten in the field of teaching and educational work.
§ 8 Forms of cooperation between the Kindergarten and Parents or Legal Guardians
- The kindergarten actively cooperates with parents to ensure optimal conditions for child development. The task of cooperation is carried out in particular through:
- Familiarization with the program and tasks resulting from the work plan of the group,
- Obtaining reliable information about your child on an ongoing basis,
- Express conclusions from the observation of the work of the kindergarten,
- Meetings with parents to exchange information and discuss educational issues,
- Active participation in kindergarten festivities,
- Opportunity for Parents to participate in open classes.
§ 9 Funding of Kindergarten activities, Offer and Payment
- The kindergarten is funded by:
- Parents in the form of monthly fees for the child’s stay in the kindergarten so-called. tuition,
- parents by paying a one-time registration fee,
- municipality through a subsidy (in accordance with the provisions of the Education System Act and the Law on Financing Educational Tasks).
- Within the fees described in § 9, the kindergarten provides:
- Full educational care,
- Realization of teaching activities of the core curriculum in accordance with § 2,
- Full board.
- The kindergarten may offer additional paid activities, which will be determined in the current program offer of the kindergarten with the possibility of taking into account the preferences of parents (or legal guardians) and children.
- The amount of fees is determined by an agreement between the Parents or legal guardians of the Child and the Governing Body.
- The fee for the child’s stay in the kindergarten is collected in advance, but no later than the 10th of each month at the kindergarten’s cashier’s office or by bank transfer to the designated bank account number.
- In the case of a child’s reported absence from the kindergarten for more than 4 days, the part of the monthly fee related to the cost of food will be refunded.
- In the event of cancellation of the kindergarten’s services, a one-month notice period applies.
- If the fee described in § 9 is not paid within one month from the due date of payment, the Governing Body may decide to terminate the contract for preschool care services.
§ 10 Final provisions
- This Statute applies to all members of the preschool community for the purpose of:
- Create optimal conditions for raising children,
- Ensure harmonious principles of cooperation among all participants in the educational process,
- Provide a stable foundation for the operation of the preschool facility.
- These Articles of Association were developed and adopted for use by the Preschool Governing Body on 01/01/2019.
